The O’Hare Booster Club Illinois

The O’Hare Booster Club Illinois is a volunteer parent organization.    The purpose and objective of the Booster Club is:

    a)     To promote awareness and appreciation of Irish culture in the community and supporting children’s endeavors to continue Irish traditions.

    b)     To enhance and support the experience of Irish Dance for all students of the O’Hare School of Irish Dance in Illinois.

    c)      To support in every way, including financially when possible, the highest level of competitions for all dancers.

    d)      To be a strong member of the communities in which we serve.  

            We are run by a Board of Directors, elected by our families.  The board positions are completely volunteer.  To hold a board position, you must have an active registered dancer in the O’Hare School of Irish Dance.  The board positions include:  President; Vice President, Treasurer and Secretary.  Positions hold a term of two years and rotate in two year cycles to ensure continuity of business for the organization.

            We are always in need of parent volunteers.  Some of the functions we host for our dancers include the Bring a Friend/Open House day, Holiday party and year end recital & reception.
